Marleshwar waterfall is located in Ratnagiri district.We need to climb 531 steps to reached there. This waterfall originates from the river Bav, this is known as Dhareshwar waterfall. The waterfall exist for whole year.but it's access is restricted during monsoon from July to October due to heavy flow of water.There is a temple of lord shiva, and the Marleshwar yatra which take place during the makar sankranti.Lord Parshuram laid the foundation of the temple.Many snakes can be seen in the cave but there has been no complaint of any devotees being bitten.
