Thiba Palace



Thiba Palace indeed it was used as a prison for the house arrest of Burmese King Thibaw by British and it was built by Britishers in 1910-1911. It is situated on a small hillock which offers extremely panoramic views. At the first floor King's bed, his Seat etc and special statue of Buddha which was brought by the king are nicely exhibited. This is an impressive attraction of Ratnagiri.
